I am a doctoral candidate in Applied Anthropology at the University of South Florida, where I am completing a concurrent master's degree in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. My dissertation focuses on how language access shapes the experience of Spanish-speaking Latine individuals seeking abortion care in New York City, and I approach this work through reproductive justice and intersectionality frameworks.

My research is heavily informed by critical perspectives on language and social equity, pondering language as a social phenomenon that moderates reproduction and health care access. Fluent in Spanish and French and having intermediate proficiency in American Sign Language and Moroccan Darija, studying and researching language reflect my deep commitment to language justice.

Alongside my research, I teach as an instructor of record and teaching assistant in the Department of Anthropology, and I serve as Communications Chair for the Graduate Assistants Union (GAU) at USF, where I write the newsletter, design recruiting materials, and build the systems that keep over 2000 graduate workers informed and connected to one another. I also serve as newsletter editor with the AAA Council on Anthropology and Reproduction, board member of the SfAA Human Rights and Social Justice Committee, board member of the Crisis in Anthropology WorkGroup, and am active as a clinic escort at multiple women’s reproductive health clinics.
